Patrick Jones

Raised in a small town in the North Georgia mountains, I earned a B.M. in Jazz Studies from Valdosta State University and an M.M. in Jazz Studies from the University of Oregon. For nearly a decade, I toured as a professional jazz and pop pianist across Europe and the United States. Seeking career stability, I transitioned to serve as a chaplain and minister before earning an M.B.A. and entering the business world.

From 2021 to 2025, I ran my own consulting firm, specializing in revenue and operations for finance, marketing, and consulting businesses. I’ve partnered with teams worldwide—from 2-person startups to organizations with 300+ employees—optimizing marketing, sales, operations, and finance strategies.

In Fall 2024, my wife, Lynn, and our children, Sheperd and Lucille, relocated to Cincinnati when Lynn joined the College-Conservatory of Music as Associate Professor and Department Chair of Piano Pedagogy and Secondary Piano. I’m thrilled to settle into Cincinnati and collaborate with the exceptional team at Sims to drive growth and efficiency.
